Tea Bowls are a common piece of the ceramic artist's repertoire. With the influence of Bernard Leach, tea bowls became a mark of a Japanese influence. Tom is intrigued by the varied textures and glazes that can be combined to make thousands of unique tea bowls. Below are pictures of some of the most recent teabowls. The images below show both unfired and fired tea bowls. Notice that some whole shelves are teabowls. Each of these images displays a gradient in the tea bowl series.
